HOW TO SPEND YOUR NEXT NIGHT OUT WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS

It’s Friday night & time to ditch the office for something perhaps a little more refreshing & a little more tasty. Who’s with me? Thankfully, this weekend my good friends at American Express have partnered with The Urban List to create the Urban Weekender (presented by Shop Small). No what exactly does all this mean I hear you pondering? Well for this weekend only, Amex Card Members are invited to come along & experience some of the delicious offers at an array of my favourite local bars, cafes & hotspots around town. Naturally, when I first saw the incredible list of participating restaurants & eateries in the Urban Weekender, I went with the pizza/ice-cream option. My first stop? Ladro. Their chefs certainly know how to create a mouth-watering pizza & they are one of my go-to’s around town (yep there is more than one location!) The Ladro bar also make a mean Aperol Spritz jug, so really this option was a no-brainer. And the best part is, if you’re an American Express Card Member you can get a complimentary Rucola Insalata (aka my fave salad ever) with every pizza this weekend! Belissimo!

Next stop, & I blame my sweet-tooth for this, is Ganache Chocolate. This chocolate lounge has it all, from
bite size pieces to sharing blocks to macarons to frozen treats. One waffle cone and chocolate ice-cream for me
please! This weekend, you can try their Urban Weekender Chocolate Platter, featuring a chocolate
macaron, chocolate pralines, a slice of our decadent Triple Chocolate Mousse plua either a hot
chocolate or a chocolate cocktail. Now if that doesn’t sound like dessert heaven, I don’t know what does.
