I absolutely love starting the day with one of my favourite breakfast choices, a fresh homemade acai bowl, so I thought I would share with you one of my super easy go-to recipes…
Blend: 1tbs acai powder, 1tbs vanilla protein powder, 1-2 bananas, 1/4 cup coconut water, 1tsp maca powder, 1tsp chia seeds, handful of blueberries & ice. Be sure to use a powerful blender such as a nutri bullet, thermomix or vitamix so the end product is smooth. I picked up these ingredients at my local health food store.
Topping: sliced strawberries, buckinis & grated coconut (or anything you like).
