There is no denying I love a fresh Uniqlo collaboration, especially when it’s designed by French model & muse Ines De La Fressange. Think easy Parisian style that screams effortless weekend wear, with classic basics and timeless wardrobe essentials. Like most of us, I had not heard of Ines De La Fressange (gosh the French have pretty names) prior to her collection releases with Uniqlo but I sure know her now! Ines has this knack of creating beautiful, elevated basics at a price that you won’t find anywhere else. Ines’ latest collection with Uniqlo certainly ticks these boxes & many more. So it was an obvious move to pack my luggage full of her designs for a relaxing, weekend getaway to the iconic Werribee Mansion. As per usual, the collection comes with the quality and price-point that we know and love at Uniqlo. To be honest, I could have easily filled my entire spring closet (not just my luggage!) with pieces from this new collaboration…

We enjoyed the most relaxing weekend away. From spa treatments to boozy late night dinners and cosy sleep-ins, we did it all. It was so lovely to take a break from the hecticness of life! And as an avid watcher of Picnic at Hanging Rock, getting to tour the mansion (aka Appleyard College for all you fellow fans) was surreal. It is such a majestic piece of architecture & the gardens are just divine. Like I said, just the perfect setting for some relaxed yet elegant weekend wear.
On a side-note, is there any outfit that a camel coat won’t instantly elevate? I honestly think not. A great quality long camel coat has been on my to-buy list for ages, so I was ecstatic when I spotted this one in-store. Although, I have to admit it was VERY difficult to go passed all the other great coats in this collection (pssst you can check them out here)! So tell me, what’s your go-to weekend outfit?
