A SENSATIONAL SUMMER WITH GROUPON

My friends over at Groupon (aka the marketplace that offers deals on pretty much everything under the sun) recently challenged me to explore my own backyard & embark on a day of summer experiences tailored just for me. No need to ask this girl twice, so here’s exactly what my sensational summer day looked like…

1. Overnight Escape at De’Vine Winery in The Yarra Valley

Exploring the Yarra Valley, one of Australia’s top wine regions, has long been on the top of my bucket list so it was a no-brainer to drive out to this picturesque part of the world for a night away from the city. Think twisting roads, rolling vineyards, a secluded hideaway to call home & being welcomed with a bottle of wine to enjoy whilst basking in under a glorious summer sunset. And if that’s not enough, did I mention it’s half price?

2. Hot Air Balloon Ride with Go Wild over The Yarra Valley

Just a ten minute drive down the road & we arrive at the pre-dawn meeting point for our sunrise balloon ride over the valley. If you’ve never been hot air ballooning, I highly highly recommend it. There is a certain tranquillity & peacefulness that comes from floating up off the ground into the sky above with no barrier between yourself & the world around you. Not to mention those incredible countryside views.

3. Breakfast at Babble Cafe

Eggs for two, check. Bacon for two, check. Coffee for two, check. Enough said really.

4. Pilates Class at Xtreme Pilates X

I am always up for a workout & this was the perfect opportunity to try something new. A fast-paced mix of cardio & toning that had me working up a sweat from the moment the pilates class started. Even better, it was all done in twenty-five minutes, now how convenient is that?

5. Laser Hair Removal at Medical Laser & IPL Clinic

Another item that has long been on my to-do list is laser hair removal on my legs. Say goodbye to that razor & say hello to silky smooth pins all summer long!

6. Early dinner at Burger Buzz

What better way to end the perfect summer day than with a burger at our local burger place? Fresh, delicious & full of the good stuff. The best way to top off my ultimate summer day.
