THE 30 DAY WELLECO SUPER ELIXIR CHALLENGE

Last month the inspirational team at WelleCo offered me the chance to embark on a thirty day challenge with their Super Elixir Alkalising Greens, a green powder that helps to lower your body’s acidity. The product is the brainchild of supermodel & all round fitspiration Elle Macpherson (aka The Body) so obviously with such a glowing endorsement, I absolutely jumped at the chance to give it a go. And the results were pleasantly surprising….

Ok let’s take you back to the basics. The WelleCo Super Elixir is a highly specialised alkalising greens supplement packed full of vitamins, minerals & trace elements to aid wellbeing & vitality by improving your natural pH levels thus keeping you within a desired alkaline range. What’s wrong with acidity I hear you ask? It’s been suggested that low pH levels within the body can lead to inflammation, poor energy levels, weight gain, as well as the accelerated ageing of cells. Alternatively, an alkaline state improves skin & hair quality, supports your vital immune system & nourishes cells. Combined in a calculated ratio, the Alkalising Greens powder is constructed from forty five unique, organic & whole-food ingredients including probiotics for optimal digestion & gut health. With no synthetic compounds, the nutrients are easily absorbed into the cells so the body gets all the good stuff straight away!

Now my challenge was to add two teaspoons of the supplement into my diet everyday for one month & honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I mean, we all live in a world wear there is a new health craze every two minutes so I wasn’t going to hedge all my bets. The beauty of the powder is that you can consume it so many ways! Have it on it’s own with milk or water, or add it to your favourite smoothie or smoothie bowl recipe. The latter was my personal preference as, I have to admit, on it’s own it doesn’t exactly taste like Milo! Whilst on the challenge I came up a few different smoothie recipes, but I had one which was my absolute fave, which I’ve included for you at the end of this post.

As a physiotherapist, I am very much into my health & fitness so I was pleasantly surprised that after a few weeks of taking the greens I noticed my energy levels had improved, all bloating had subsided & my skin was glowing. I even started getting compliments about how I was starting to look more like Elle (well I definitely dreamt that last part, but a girl can wish right?!)

All in all, it’s certainly a healthy habit that I will be continuing long after these thirty days so why not try it for yourself? Get your hot little hands on The WelleCo Super Elixir Alkalising Greens here. Going green has never felt better! x

    1. Hi Sharlyn!

I completed this challenge whilst exercising regularly, and I definitely noticed some results. So in answer to you question, yes I do think it does work for weight loss when you incorporate exercise and a balance diet in your life!

I hope this helps! Lisa xx

  1. I finally managed to try this out Lisa!
First week was challenging, but once I got over the hump I felt incredible. Didn’t lose a huge amount of weight but my overwell wellbeing was greatly improved and the endorphins were pumping, thanks for the post!

  2. I hope you are using a reusable metal straw and if so, could you consider highlighting this in your blog as a reminder that plastic straws are not ok. Thank you
